The curious groove chilled mix of jazz, beats, funk, folk and dub basslines to movie soundtracks via eerie monk singing.
Galaxian is the musical pseudonym of one Phil Williams. In the 80s, young Phil would tune in religiously to the late night soul and funk show on Essex FM, getting into such luminaries as Herbie Hancock and Parliament. This provided the inspiration for his musical breeding in several bands with stints as a drummer, keys man and bassist.
Phil felt the need to explore his interest in many musical genres by beginning to write his own music and experiment with instruments.
