We wanted to put a few words on the site about Domu’s recent retirement from making music. We have had the pleasure of working with Dom over the past year on his ‘One Offs, Remixes and B Sides’ album for Tru Thoughts, along with signing a publishing deal with him to cover his extensive releases. We have a great relationship with him and felt he fitted in perfectly with the Tru Thoughts family and ethos, and we are sad to see him step away from music. Our phone chats with him have been simply to check he is well and happy and to say that we will keep pushing his music and while Domu, Umod and all his other pseudonyms have been shut down, Dominic Stanton is someone who will still pick up the phone and promise to make us a brew if we pop by. We wish him all the luck in the world with his life choices. Thanks for all the kind words about him.
