Wrongtom Meets Deemas J sign to Tru Thoughts
Album on the way
We are proud to announce the two newest members of the Tru Thoughts family, Wrongtom & Deemas J who bring to the roster a forthcoming album project called ‘Wrongtom Meets Deemas J’.
Following on from the recent huge success of the ‘Wrongtom Meets Roots Manuva’ project, for which he took on the task of reworking tracks from the legendary UK rapper’s career, resulting in the hit album ‘Duppy Writer’ (Big Dada), Wrongtom teams up with old friend and legendary MC Deemas J, whose virtually endless CV boasts collaborations with everyone across the worlds of Drum & Bass, Old School, Garage, Reggae and Hip hop, including High Contrast, Andy C, Nicky Black Marke, Ras Kwame, Pied Piper, EZ and Kenny Ken to name just a few.
Here’s what Wrongtom had to say… “When I think of Tru Thoughts, I think of grass roots business which is what makes them the perfect label for this project. It’s an honour for us to join the TT gang.”
