This club-friendly platter was the first single from Diesler’s second album, the much-anticipated followup to ‘Diggin It Somethin Rotten’.
In contrast to his debut LP, ‘Keepie Uppies’ finds Jonathan Radford collaborating extensively with musicians and vocalists. Though the tracks have lost none of that trademark Diesler bite, there’s a greater emphasis on more traditional song structures.
‘Charmed’ is the perfect example of Radford’s ability to bridge the divide between vocal track and club banger.
The track appears here in an extended form and features the soulful voice of Laura Vane, who has also worked with MJ Cole and Gnarls Barkley.
On the B Side, ‘Real Cold’ finds Hammond, horns and tough beats colliding for fans of the funkier styles.
