Dieslers first 7” for Tru Thoughts features two tracks from his second album, ‘Keepie Uppies’.
At the time of its release, ‘Day Of The Jackal’ had already been rocking dancefloors across the world on CD-R for months. Getting it out there on vinyl just seemed like the logical thing to do.
Its furious percussion, piano and heavy horns brought a hot, Latin flavour to the summer of 2006.
On the flipside you’ll find ‘Puppy Fat’; a feverish funk track with a hint of stompin’ ska that became a regular fixture in Mr Scruff’s 7s box.
