‘Begin Again’ is a captivating hybrid of gospel and hip hop, built on jaunty drum breaks, haunting piano lines and rich, soulful vocals.
‘Stars’ has a similar off-kilter feel to it. Subdued strings and chopped-up vocals intertwine with a melancholic clarinet melody.
‘Spooked’ puts a fresh spin on the funky breakbeat party sound. Its fat horn hooks and live drumming give things a definite big band jazz flavour.
