At The Dance
Hint’s second Dance floor EP on Tru Thoughts is upon us!
Hint continues his dance floor mission for Tru Thoughts with this spectacular little EP, ‘At the Dance’.
Not only are there tunes for the dance floor but Hint also delves back into his classic down tempo style, which can be heard on his debut long player “Portakabin Fever” (Ninja Tune).
‘Keep Your Shirt On’ features vocalist Laura Vane who has been working with The Streets on their upcoming album and performing with them live.
‘I, Silverfish’ takes a leftfield hip-hop direction. Fusing influences from Dub Step with a different twist and featuring master lyricist Rup on vocal duties.
The final track on the A side sees a more mellow, placid style in ‘Mutes and Drops’.
The AA side kicks off with ‘At the Dance’, which has undoubtedly one of the biggest bass lines of the year! Follow this on with ‘Snake Patrol’ and you have a quintet of strong, pumping dance floor offerings to keeping the clubbers happy!
