This limited edition 7” was the first release on Tru Thoughts by Kinny & Horne.
Half Jamaican, half Native-Indian, born in Canada, classically trained in Opera and raised on a musical diet of reggae and jazz, Kinny brings her distinctive vocals to Norwegian Espen Horne’s accomplished songwriting.
‘Why Me’ became something of an anthem for the Tru Thoughts DJs back in 2005, prompting lots of interest from audiences.
This track went on to appear on Kinny & Horne’s debut album, ‘Forgetting To Remember’.
