The Sin & The Fear EP
The first and only EP on Tru Thoughts by Brighton-based producer and musician, Mangataot.
‘The Sin and The Fear’ features rising starlet Martha Tilston, whose enchanting vocals are supported by the dominant bassline. This track first appeared on the Tru Thoughts ‘Shapes Mono’ mix CD, compiled by Robert Luis and Quantic.
‘Seven’ features live drums and keys with a space inspired theme. Upping the pace, ‘Vista’ is slightly faster in tempo with sitars in full effect.
‘Escapism’, the second vocal track on the EP, takes things down a notch thanks to its sultry strings and extremely squelchy bass. This track also makes an appearance on the ‘Shapes One’ compilation.
Closing the EP, ‘Kaidafun’ explores viscous synth sounds which gradually build as the track develops.
