‘Bungee Jump Against Racism’ was the first collaborative effort between Tru Thoughts founder Robert Luis and Simon Green, aka Bonobo, the first artist to record an album for the label back in 2000.
The title track is a devastating headlong collision between broken beat, Bollywood vocals and traditional Indian percussion. Check the filthy mid-range which kicks in two-thirds of the way through!
B-side ‘Partridge’ keeps the Bollywood theme, adding a hip hop breakbeat and some heavy bass sounds that literally jump out of the speakers.
