“Death Of The Revolution” is the second of three limited 7” singles from Quantic’s deep, tropical dub and reggae inspired project, Quantic Presenta Flowering Inferno.

The album, also entitled “Death Of The Revolution” is out on 14th July and has had radio play and support so far from Mark Lamarr and Gilles Peterson among other tastemakers around the world.
The unstoppable crate-digger Will “Quantic”:http://www.tru-thoughts.co.uk/artists/quantic Holland has shown yet again that no matter what style of music he decides to turn his hand to – or how far around the world he travels to find the inspiration or the guest musicians – the end product will be a powerful and authentic take, with that original and idiosyncratic Quantic twist.

This tune is sizzling with hazy summer heat and tropical influences, with occasional spine-tingling breezy vocals over a playful, pacy rhythm creating a lush, multi-layered and quirky sound that gets deeper with every listen. All the instruments you can hear on the “Death Of The Revolution” single are played by Holland and were recorded in his Colombian studio.

On the flip, the minimalistic “Make Dub Not War (Making Dub)”, is an exclusive alternative version of the album track.

Look out for the third 7” single “Juanita Bonita” in the near future.
