Taken from the album of the same name, ‘Mishaps Happening’ gets an airing on 12”
The title track gets remixed by Quantic himself, who strips apart the many layers of the original, adding some heavy breakbeats for the dancefloor.
‘Departure’ is a fast and funky Brazilian influenced track, while ‘Don’t Joke With A Hungry Man’ featuring the legendary Spanky Wilson gets the remix treatment from Seiji of Bugz In The Attic fame.
‘Quick Sand’ rounds off the EP on a more introspective tip.
All in all an amazing four track selection – little wonder, then, that it received extensive support from the likes of Mr Scruff, Gilles Peterson, The Bees, Groove Armada, Domu and Aim.
