Black Gold 7
The second installment in Tru Thoughts’ Black Gold series of limited vinyl DJ weapons features two killer cover versions set to become Tru Thoughts classics: Quantic And His Combo Bárbaro give you their spin on “Wandering Star” by Portishead, and Nostalgia 77 hooks up with the Fiction Trio to take on Eminem’s “My Name Is”.
Both tracks on this double A side 7” are taken from the ‘Tru Thoughts Covers’ album, out on the Unfold imprint and features some of the label’s biggest covers from over the years as well as a number of other exclusives from Jamie Woon, Bugz In The Attic and Lizzy Parks amongst others.
