me&you’s full length album ‘Floating Heavy’ is an eclectic journey through the musical genres.

Stomping it’s way through Break Beat, Soul, Jazz, Dub and Drum and Bass, the end result is a toe tapping, head nodding, powerfuly dynamic dancefloor classic.

‘Brown Paper Bag’ and ‘The Hoop Loop’ have received a number of outstanding reviews and radio play from the likes of Danny Breaks and Rob Da Bank on Radio 1. ‘Last Night’ is a Calypso and Drum and Bass offering which has been stirring up a frenzy in the Drum n Bass world, with Benny Page’s remix being played out by the likes of DJ Hype.

Wide selections of genres are worked into this dance floor album. Track four ‘Sneaker Thief’ is an infectious disco and break beat style acid house track. There is an Egyptian twist in ‘Elephant Takeover’ and an Afro influenced vibe in ‘Wouri River’.

The album moves into Brazilian Batucada in track ‘Ze Zam’ and then a blend of Dub Step, Reggae bass lines and some Bollywood grooves come out in ‘Got Any R&B?’.

There is enough to keep your ears listening and your feet moving on this release and will keep dance floors across the world buzzing!
