London-based Japanese producer Anchorsong shares his novel single “New World”, an uplifting sonic expedition from the highly-fêted artist. “New World” follows on from the Tunisia-capital inspired single “Tunis Dream”. Both tracks harness Anchorsong’s idiosyncratic amalgam of shoegaze, ambient, and supple hip-hop grooves, and form part of Masaaki Yoshida’s anticipated fourth album ‘Mirage’ – set for release on 21st May

Talking about “New World”, Masaaki says: “I originally intended to make something very calm and melancholic with the opening chorus, however it ended up becoming one of the most uplifting tracks on the album. It’s the closing song also, as it feels like the end of a journey, which only leads to another one.”
