This one-sided 12” - in a yellow and red blood spattered-effect vinyl design, and limited to just 500 units - brings the first official release of a hugely in-demand track from London based producer Darq E Freaker.
With recent production credits including Danny Brown’s smash “Blueberry (Pills & Cocaine)”, as well as “Handstand” from Brown’s latest, critically lauded album ‘Old’; Darq E Freaker’s CV also includes remixes for the likes of the Scissor Sisters, and collaborations with London Grammar, Oakland rapper Gita and M.I.A.'s protege Afrikan Boy; and he is currently anticipating his next EP on Numbers.
An in-your-face slice of dancefloor goodness, the heavy hitting, grimey production of “Ironside” has turned heads all over the world, creating an online buzz and even being tapped up by Wiley, who rapped over the “Ironside” instrumental for his “Step” Freestyles, which has further increased the fervour for the tune.
Maintaining the exclusivity of this gold dust vinyl-only release, there is no digital promo of this track whatsoever, but you can check out an unofficial rip of “Ironside” here to see what all the fuss is about.
