Espen Horne (who you may know as the Bobby Hughes Experience) has worked with just about everybody in Norway’s ever expanding jazz and beats scenes! The desire to work with a vocalist on his new project led to him hooking up with Canadian / Jamaican singer Caitlin Simpson and the result was the ‘Forgetting To Remember’ album. Encompassing jazz, reggae, funk, hip hop and downtempo beats, the LP reflects Espen’s sound well.

The big DJ tune from the album ‘Us On Fire’ is now released as a single in it’s own right. Sampling the reggae classic ‘Bam Bam’ by Sister Nancy this is a surefire dancefloor rocker.

Tru Thoughts label mates also join in on the action to remix their favorite tracks from the album. Diesler, who has recently released his ‘Diggin’ It Somethin Rotten’ album to great response takes ‘Queen Of Boredness’ into a stripped down hip hop soul direction.

Nostalgia 77 whose recently released 18 minute ‘Hope Suite’ single has been described as “one of the best records of 2005” by Gilles Peterson, adds some Brit Jazz to the album’s title track ‘Forgetting To Remember’.

As an extra bonus for the DJ’s there are three album A capella tracks on the vinyl version too!
